Don B. Hanks, 66, of Clovis, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

He was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Mart, Texas to Roy C. and Dorothy J. Hanks.

He graduated from Clovis High School in 1958. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad after high school and retired after more than 40 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964. His hobbies included working on cars, drag racing, motorcycle riding and photography.

He is preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Travis Don Hanks.

He is survived by his mother; a son, Greg Hanks (and wife, Robin) of Clovis; a daughter, Lisa Sepulveda (Joey) of Las Cruces; a brother, Jerry W. Hanks; three grandchildren, Kim, Gary and Brook Hanks, all of Clovis.

Sam Kelley will officiate the services.

Burial will take place at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Ward, Joe Thrasher, Joe Lekovich, Stanley Baldwin, Mel Mapes and Pat O’Briant.
