Upcoming events

Monday, JV girls and Varsity boys basketball teams hostChrist the King at Conqueror Gym at 4 and 5 p.m.

Friday,: Homecoming activities at Conqueror Gym starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be food and lots of fun. FTCS Homecoming Queen is Victoria Payen, the King is Luis McCain. Cassie Paden and Eric Cathey are the court attendants. The flower girl and crown bearer are Bryanna Moore and Tobin Alford, respectively. There will be a basketball game between FTCS alumni and the High School boys’ team. The actual homecoming basketball games are scheduled for Monday night, Jan. 31, when we will host Community Christian from Hereford. The games start at 4 p.m.

Pictures

Basketball pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, February 2nd at 8:30 a.m. Order forms have been sent home with each player. Please have forms and money turned in by Jan. 31s.

K-5 notes

The K-5 program at FTCS is taught by Mrs. Angie Smith. She is currently teaching the students to read, and she says each student is reading one-vowel words very well. In math, they are working on the ‘6’ family and counting pennies and dimes. The students are also learning about geography.
