The men’s monthly breakfast will be at the Elida Baptist Church Nov. 13 starting at 7 a.m. All men are invited to come share a good meal and fellowship.
The annual turkey dinner will be served by the Elida Methodist ladies Nov. 14th. starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. There will be take out available. This will be at the Elida School lunch room. All are invited to come share a meal and lots of visiting. The cost will be $5.
The Elida Homemakers will be sponsoring their annual sale at the Senior Center Nov. 18th starting at 9 a.m. Bring your favorite salad and share lunch. There will be jewelry making, make-up demonstrations, baked goods, jams, jellies as well as crochet goods and other things available. If you would like to bring your things call 274-6387 or 274-6299 to get a spot for free.
On Nov. 19, the commodities will be given out at the senior center starting at 9 a.m. If you aren’t sure if you are eligible come by and ask.
Our sympathies to the family of Tommy McGee on their recent loss. We are sorry it didn’t get in last week’s news.
Our sympathies to those who lost loved ones from house in a wreck on Highway 70 recently.
Our prayer list include: Ronald Irving, who is having surgery; Bennie Thurman who is also having surgery; B.J. Radcliff; Darwin Graves; Norman Jordan; the Connelly family; David and Delma Graves; those in area nursing homes; our overseas personnel and the leaders of our governments.
Barney Chandler recently had a visit from one of his nephews and friends.
