Michelle Rae “Little” Mancillas, 27, of Clovis, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at her home.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1976, in Okinawa, Japan, to Dallas Ray Jr. and Frances Annick Phillips Akers.

She married Willie Mancillas on April 4, 2003, in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was a certified nurse in Templeton, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and an aunt, Brenda Lyon.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Frances Annick Highhouse (and husband, Larry Joe) of Coalinga, Calif.; her father, Dallas Ray Akers Jr. (Leticia Monterroza) of Waveland, Miss.; three sons, Matthew Byron Hitt and Joshua James Hitt, both of San Diego, Calif. and Orlando Richard Mancillas of Cannon Air Force Base; four sisters, Debra Annick Carrol (Leon) of Coalinga, Calif., Jennifer Nichole and husband Gary Coutu of Savannah, Ga., Mellissa and Cynthia Akers, both of Waveland, Miss.; two brothers, Dallas Ray III Akers (Tonya) of St. James, Mo., and Allan Omar Monterroza (Misty) of Rolla, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight and visitation will be held until 8 p.m. tonight at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
