Volleyball

Thursday: All teams will play Dora, there at 4:30 p.m.

Starting Oct. 26th they will be playing in the district tournaments. You can call the school to find out where and the time.

Club

The Elida homemakers club will be spending the day out with shopping and lunch out Oct. 21. They will meet at the Senior Center around 10 a.m. to go in the van.

Coming soon

The Homemakers’ Club will sponsor and arts, craft and garage sale in November. If you have stuff and would like a spot give Maxine Smith or Martha King a call to reserve a spot as it will be free.

Around town

B. J. Radcliff has had surgery in Lubbock and is now recovering at her sister’s, Betty Moore’s home.

We hear that Anna Fay Lee is in the hospital, no word on how she is.

John McCraw recently had surgery in Lubbock then suffered a heart attack, no word on how he is. She is at Beth and Adam Anthony’s home. If you can help please give Beth a call.

Others to keep on your prayer list are Bob Evens, Norman Jordan, Darwin Graves, David and Delma Graves, those in area nursing homes, our over seas personnel and the leaders of our nation.

Reminders

Each Monday night there is a ladies bible study at the Baptist Church and all ladies are invited to come and share this together.

Daylight savings will end on Oct. 31. So we can turn our clocks back then.
