Transitions

Birthdays August 14-20: Tasha Burton, Jake Peterson, Noel Rippie, Travis Husted, Magin Mclain, Nita Thurman and Valerie Diaz.

Anniversaries: Mr. and Mrs. Joel Crosthwait, Mr. and Mrs. David Craig, Mr. and Mrs. David Graves and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Ward.

Breakfast

The men’s monthly breakfast will be held at the Baptist Church Saturday at 7 a.m. All men are invited to come and share a good meal and fellowship.

Chicken Fry

The annual chicken fry will be held at the Methodist Church Sunday night, starting at 7 p.m. They will provide the chicken and those attending are asked to bring a large vegetable or dessert to finish out the meal. This is to meet the school personnel and everyone is invited to attend.

Game Night

Aug. 21 will be game night at the Baptist Church starting at 7 p.m. All are invited to come and share a fun evening and fellowship.

Commodities

The commodities will be given out at the senior center on Aug. 20 starting at 9 a.m. Bring proof as usual.

Around Town

We hear that Buddy Morehead is now at home after her stay in the hospital and Bob Evans is now recovering at home in Kenna.

Prayer List

The McCraws, Laura Wilson, G. E. Peterson, David and Delma Graves, Kent Windets, Bennie Thurman, Montie and Fern Cochrain, Nadine and Harding Burris, those in area nursing homes, over overseas personnel and the leaders of our governments.
