Vera Hartsfield, 93, of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1910, in Plains.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and a brother, Gilbert Hightower.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Hartsfield and Dudley Hartsfield (and wife, Vickie); two daughters, Donnie Stickley and Vella Dodd (Leon); a brother, Broy Hightower; eight grandchildren, Becky Finney (Leroy), Darla Dodd, Shelley Mapstone, Scott Dodd (Sandra), Tammy Taylor (Larry), Doug Stickley, Dudley Wayne Hartsfield, Cindy Bernal and Tuffy Hartsfield; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Albuquerque.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of choice.

Arrangements are by Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque.
