Mrs. Loie Murl Munn Russell, 87, of Clovis, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis.
She was born on April 23, 1917, in Sipe Springs, Texas, to Henry Clay and Eula Bell Witt Munn.
She married R.J. “Pet” Russell on June 17, 1933, in Clovis. She was a member of Sandia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two infant sons; and a brother, Arthur.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Russell (and wife, Myrna) of Amarillo and Lloyd Russell (Robbie) of Clovis; four grandchildren, Kevin and Karen Russell of Amarillo, Donnie Russell of Clovis and Melissa Watkins of Clovis; seven great-grandchildren, Conner, Carli, Stephanie and Jessica Russell and Steven, Jerrod and Melanie Watkins; two great-great-grandchildren, Reece and Brooke Watkins; and a sister, Willie Mae Willson of Roanoke, Ala.
The Rev. Jason Schwope will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery in Dora.
Pallbearers are Bob Weber, W.Y. Mitchell, Jim Roller, Lester Cleghorn, Allen Yates and Tommy Hohstadt.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or Sandia Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
