Services: Have been held.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Thomas, 75, of Clovis, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at her home.

She was born on July 11, 1928, in Tyler, Texas, to Alonzo and Bethfeenia Smith.

She joined with the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in 1987 under the pastorate of Reverend B. J. Choice.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elijah Buddy Anderson; her second husband, O.C. Thomas; and a son, Paul Anderson.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Anderson and Odessa Kanu, both of Clovis; five sons, Charles Anderson of Santa Rosa, Morris Anderson and Robert Anderson, both of Clovis, and Ray Thomas and Michael Thomas, both of Colorado; two sisters, Joyce Thomas of Long Beach, Calif., and Edessa Washington of Marksville, La.; a stepson, Joe N. Thomas Sr. of Clovis; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Billy E. Askew will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Jimmy L. Johnson, L.C. Robinson, Jerry Askew, Barry Lindley, David Bell and Robert Walker.

Honorary pallbearers are Homer Green, Scottie Spillman, Paul Johnson, Raymon Beachum and Philip Martinez Sr.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
