Back Porch Pickers
The Floyd Back Porch Pickers will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Community Building. This is open to the very young to old. You don‘t have to know how to play anything, just have a love for music. Listeners and toe tappers also welcome. For more information, contact Dave Nash at 478-2574.
The Floyd Methodist Church has announced that their pastor, Mary Sue Hull, has been reappointed to the Elida/Floyd charge for the coming year. The church appreciates the support given from the area.
This year’s Child Find will be April 30th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. There will be free screenings for ages birth-5 for vision, hearing, speech, language, preschool and nutrition information, as well as a nurse available to give shots. Please bring child’s birth certificate and immunization records. If you have a child to be enrolled in preschool next year, you must come to this Child Find to sign up before all available slots are taken.
