April 11 Dora School News

Tawnya Craig is back doing our computer chores in the school cafeteria. She spent last week with the FFA teams at State. She is a regular sponsor since she has sons on the teams. I will try to have a report on the that next week.

Good Friday

There was no school on Friday so all the elementary students, preschoolers and kindergarten classes were having their parties and egg hunts on Thursday.

Extracurricular Activities

Wednesday: Paul Tankersley will be here at 9 a.m. to measure prom dresses.

Thursday: Fourth-graders have a field trip to Clovis. NMSU representative will visit at 10 a.m.

Friday: Grades 6-8 to attend American Native Royalty event at Eastern New Mexico University. It starts at 10 a.m., returning after lunch. Business Professionals of American meets during activity periods.

April 21: PTSO meeting, 4 p.m. at Elementary workroom.

April 22: Talent search visiting high school.

April 23: Fourth-graders have a field trip to White Sands, Drama play at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

April 27: BPA National Conference, through April 30.

April 19

This is a school day for “makeup” day. There is no kindergarten on this day. Grades 1-12 have a full day.

Other Events

April 20: Art assembly, 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

April 24: Prom, 7 p.m.
