Lula Mae Pack, 92, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis.

She was born on March 12, 1911, in Ninnekah, Okla., to Jessie and Ada Mae Forsyth Ikard.

She married Milton Pack on Aug. 28, 1926, in Ninnekah, Okla. She came to Curry County in 1937. She was a nurse aide in Melrose and at Golden Age Nursing Home in Clovis. She was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ and The Ones Club. Family members said she loved to quilt and sew.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister; five brothers; a grandson, Montey Benton; and two sons-in-law, Taylor Benton and Lonnie McDaniel.

Survivors include three sons, Howard L. Pack (and wife, Ginger) of Melrose, Leroy Pack of Logan and Jerry Pack (Sammie Joe) of Amarillo; three daughters, Janell McDaniel of Melrose, Joy Benton of Abilene, Texas, and Dona Adkins (Raymond) of Clovis; 15 grandchildren, Jana and Kayla Alexander, Sharon Polk, Yolanda Fulgham, Donnie McDaniel, Kathy Welch, Darrell Benton, Brenda DeMartine, Lance Adkins, Sherry Rucker and Jay, Jerry, Misty, Kristie and John David Pack; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Jim Gammon will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Darrell Benton, Jay Pack, John David Pack, Jerry Pack, Lance Adkins, Billy Rucker, and Donnie McDaniel.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
