Tomasa Guzman, 55, of Muleshoe, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, near Post, Texas.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1948, at La Cruz in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, to Aurelio and Socorro Gallegos.
She moved to Muleshoe in 1965 from Delicias in Chihuahua. She married Louis Guzman on Jan. 12, 1969, in Muleshoe. She was a member of the Spanish Methodist Church in Muleshoe and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Louis Guzman Jr., on Nov. 2, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Alfredo Guzman and Sergio Guzman, of Muleshoe; two daughters, Socorro Guzman of Muleshoe and Erica Guzman of Lovington; her parents, of Muleshoe; two sisters, Martha Chapa and Rebecca Lozano, of Muleshoe; a brother, Leonardo Gallegos Sr., of Muleshoe; and 13 grandchildren.
The Rev. Javier F. Careaga will officiate. Burial will be in Bailey County Cemetery in Muleshoe.
Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home in Muleshoe.
