Domingo “Nick” Gallegos, of Hope Mills, N.C., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was the recipient of the bronze star.

Survivors include his wife, Dean McBride; four daughters, Susan Ridgeway of Garner, N.C., Annie Gallegos, Tina Johnson and Elizabeth Gallegos-McBride, all of Hope Mills, N.C.; seven sisters, Katie Walker of Pittsburg, Calif., Reyes Smith of Belen, Isabel Gallegos, Christina Gallegos and Lupe Patton, all of Clovis, Frances Large of El Paso, Texas and Patricia Gallegos of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Flavio Gallegos of Albuquerque and Tomas Gallegos of Raton; his mother Fedilia Gallegos of Clovis; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. (EST) until 8 p.m. today at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, N.C.

The Rev. Thanh Nguyen will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 82nd airborne Division Association Education Fund, P.O. Box 65089, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
