Molly Teague, 64

Molly Teague, 64, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at her home.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1939, in San Antonio, to Ruby and Walter Rodgers.

Her father was a trapper and game warden and the family moved from place to place in New Mexico while she was growing up. When she was 13 or 14 the family settled in Portales.

She married Charlie Teague on Sept. 25, 1958, in Portales. She and her husband lived in several different locations before settling in Bovina where she lived the majority of her adult life.

About 18 months ago she returned to Portales to make her home. Recently she had moved to an apartment in Golden Acres. Family members said she was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, James, Bob and Wally Rodgers; and three sisters, Jean Mays, Betty Mays and Frances Murray.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Chuck Teague (and wife, Susan) of Friona; two grandchildren, Lacy Teague and Matthew Teague; a brother, Joe Rodgers of Queens; and two sisters, Ruby McCain and Kathy Vaughn, both of Portales.

Burial was at Friona Cemetery.

The Rev. Steve Patterson officiated the services.

Honorary pallbearers are Tabor and Tyler Smith, Jarrett Vaughn and Vicente, Rafael, Geraldo and Luis McCain.

Arrangements were by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales.

Services have been held.

William H. Windley Jr., 32

William H. Windley, 32, of Portales died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, in Clovis.

He was born on Aug. 7, 1971, in Fort Bragg, N.C., to William Sr. and Evelyn Bryant Windley.

He was in the U.S. Air Force. He served in Desert Storm and was an aircraft mechanic, crew chief for the F-111 Aircraft at Cannon Air Force Base. He came to Clovis in 1994. After his discharge from the Air Force he later worked with computers and went to school at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales where he was in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

He was working on his masters degree and was a computer information instructor at Clovis Community College. In his earlier years he was active in track and field, enjoyed basketball, but most of all he loved being a father, family members said. He attended Victory Life Church in Portales.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Baldwin; and his grandmother, Ercelle Bryant.

Survivors include two sons, Darius Windley of Clovis and Dorian Windley of Dallas; his parents, William Sr. and Queen Windley of Springlake, N.C., and Evelyn and Harry Craighead of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Kim Brooks (and husband, Cleo) of Asheboro, N.C., and Gigi Miller of Antioch, Calif.; his grandmother, Clero Baldwin of Cameron, N.C.; seven nieces and nephews.

The Rev. David Markham will officiate the services.

Cremation has taken place.

Burial will be at the Fort Bragg National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the William H. Windley Jr. Scholarship Fund, in care of Clovis Community College Foundation.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.

Services are at 6 p.m. today at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton in Clovis.
