DORA — Clayton Stokes score 17 to lead all scorers, and the Coyotes outscored Vaughn 24-4 in the third quarter en route to a 62-24 win Tuesday night at Guy Luscombe Gymnasium.
Dora (5-15, 3-4) also got 10 from Travis Belcher. Chris Mateson led Vaughn with 13 points.
The Coyotes will go on the road Friday to face Melrose.
Fort Sumner 62, Floyd girls 13
FORT SUMNER — The host Vixens had only two double-figure scorers on the night, but got at least six points from seven different players in a blowout win over the Lady Broncos.
Kelly Fortner had 13 to lead all scorers, while Shannon Wilson added 11.for Fort Sumner (19-4, 7-0).
Cindy Andrade scored seven points to lead Floyd.
