Katherine S. Capps, 79, of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, in Phoenix.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1924, in Rosemark, Tenn., to Erwin and Katherine Stokes.
She was a school teacher. In 1991 she moved to Arizona from New Mexico.
Survivors include a son, Neal E. Capps of Mesa, Ariz.
Arrangements were entrusted to Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary of Scottsdale, Ariz.
