Mr. Ollie Mennell Mullins, 67, of Clovis, an auctioneer, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

He was born on Nov. 17, 1936, in Clovis to Burrell and Leveta Tinney Mullins.

He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He owned and operated Mennell Furniture Auction. He loved to play music and had a band in the 1960s. He was a member of Forrest Heights Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Mullins of Clovis; a daughter, Dawan Wells (and husband, David) of Portales; a son, Steven Mullins of Clovis; a brother, Ross Mullins (Monna) of Chapparal; a sister, Jean Allen (Grady) of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Shana Beggs of Portales, Julie Wells of Clovis and Stephanie Kennedy of Arizona; and two great-grandchildren, Treyton and Reigan Beggs.

Fred Caton will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Orville Helker, C.C. Pyle, Rocky Horton, Skip Wilson and Roger Cherry.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
