Ralph Miller, 93

Mr. Ralph E. Miller. 93, of Clovis, a retired farmer and rancher, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales.

He was born on May 13, 1910, in Oklahoma, to Clem and Alice Haney Miller.

He married Lee Ola McDonald on Jan. 28, 1928, in Clovis. He had lived most of his life in the Forrest community and moved to Clovis in 1949. He was a member of the Curry County Fiddle and Music Association and Baxter-Curren Senior Citizens, and he played in the Senior Citizens Band.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Dr. Bob Miller; three brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include his daughter, Fern McClung (and husband, Thomas) of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Vicki and Marla Carr, Scott McClung, Lori Nutter, Donna Stephens and Kathy Adair; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Fred Caton will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Scott McClung, Woodrow and Jimmy McDonald and Scott Nutter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Caton and Kenneth L. Bedinger.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.

Services are at 10 a.m. today at Highland Baptist Church in Clovis.
