Mrs. Cordie Mae Lockmiller, 69, of Clovis, owner of C&L Drapery and Upholstery, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1934, in Clovis to James and Beatrice Smith Stephens.

Mrs. Lockmiller was a lifetime resident of Clovis. She married Sterling Lockmiller on June 3, 1951, in Clovis.

She was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church and a loving grandmother, family members said.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Wesley Stephens; and one grandson, Wesley Lockmiller.

Survivors include her husband, Sterling of Clovis; one son, Bobby (and wife Pam) Lockmiller of Texico; two daughters, Becky (and Mark) Kaime of Bloomfield and Cheryl (and Gerald) Whitener of Texico; two sisters, Beulah Mitchell and Peggy Neff, both of Clovis; one brother, Bill Stephens of Clovis; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson, Jordan Bowers.

The Revs. Brad Reeves and Jim Peabody will officiate the services.

Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Tina Bowers, Vance Kaime, Dustin Whitener, Denise Whitener, Trace Lockmiller and Tara Lockmiller.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Children’s Home in Portales.
