News

• The Senior Center will be having its weekly meeting from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. A pot-luck dinner and games are scheduled.

• 4-H club will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at the Floyd Community Building. Brad Lee is doing the demonstration and the Chenaults will be bringing refreshments.

• The Floyd Methodist Church has its weekly service at 9 a.m. on Sundays, followed by Sunday School at 10. Mary Sue Hull is the minister.

Friends and families

• The Lee family will be having its reunion all day Saturday at the Floyd Community Building.

• Debbie Love is back in the community. She has been in Arkansas for radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

• Bobbie Nall’s daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Michael Donner, are in town. They are from Walker, S.D., and will be here for a week. Also, the Nall reunion will be in Lubbock this weekend.
