Davis, Cordova chosen

Clovis High grads Darren Davis and Matt Cordova have been selected to the South roster for this weekend’s 28th annual North-South series at Apodaca Park in Las Cruces.

The teams will play a 7:30 p.m. single game on Friday and have a noon doubleheader on tap for Saturday.

Davis also was chosen as a second-team pitcher on Class 5A all-state selections by the New Mexico High School Baseball Coaches Association.
