Mr. Marvin F. Holland, 74, of Clovis, a business owner and manager, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born on July 22, 1928, in Plainview, to Elmer and Florence Bonher Holland.

He graduated from Olton High School and attended Lipperts Business College. He married Virginia “Ginger” Buchanan. He served in the National Guard 36th Infantry. He managed the hospital in Hale Center in the mid 1950s and then started the Office Supply in 1959 in Plainview and Highland Furniture in 1962. He owned and operated Holland’s Office Equipment for 32 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Nolan Holland.

He is survived by his wife; four children, Glenda Green (and husband, Martin) of Lubbock, Randy Holland (and wife, Kathi) of Clovis, Larry Holland (and wife, Terry) of Lubbock and Lisa Inman (and husband, Brent) of Abilene, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kristi Williams (and husband, Brian) of Houston, David Green, Christopher Holland (and wife, Jennifer) of Lubbock, Andrea Holland (and wife, Erin) of Clovis and Holly Inman of Abilene; and a sister, Juanita Bennett (and husband, Bill) of Joseph City, Ariz.

Herbert Bergstrom and the Rev. Mike Eberhardt will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Paul Matherly, Larry Erwin, Neil McBride, David Green, Christopher Holland, Brian Williams, Marvin Huguley, Bill Kinyon and Allan Isbell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home in Portales.
