CLOVIS — The Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority has received 27 applications for its executive director position as of Monday, according to Office Director Maggie Chapman. PORTALES — Clovis High graduate Kamal Cass was named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Cass rushed for a season-high 187 yards in the Greyhounds' 51-34 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville. His 88-yard sprint on the first of his four touchdowns was a career-long.
