    WASHINGTON — A new Defense Department school policy underscores the importance of student attendance, while also considering military families’ unique needs, the acting director of the Department of Defense Education Activity said. The policy, which went into effect Sept. 1, requires students attending DoD schools to be in attendance for 180 instructional days per academic year, barring illness and emergency situations. Bank President David Stone said the ceremony has taken place every year since 2002.     A single handful of snack mix has a great variety of tastes and textures. Munching on all the components is fun. That, coupled with my sweet tooth, made the following recipe sound quite good. I have known many couples that have relocated once or maybe even twice due to educational training or employment changes.
