    Eamon Scarbrough|Updated Oct 20, 2017

The business world is ever changing, thanks in large part to online retailers. Two events next week hope to shine a light into the darkness. The New Mexico Small Business Development Center is holding a free "Surviving Amazon" workshop from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Monday at the Yam Theater in Portales, and another from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Curry County Chamber of Commerce in Clovis. Updated Oct 10, 2017

PORTALES - What appeared to be a probable blowout victory for the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds ultimately turned into a down-to-the-wire affair in last Saturday's homecoming game against UT-Permian Basin. FLOYD - Sometimes, bigger isn't always better. At least Floyd junior running back Juan Delgado doesn't seem to think so. After beginning his career at Portales, Delgado has spent the past two seasons with the Broncos, trading in 11-man football for 6-man competition. "I've been playing since I was in little league, and in Portales, I played my junior high year and freshman year," Delgado said. "I wanted to try something new, try six-man, so I came over to Floyd. So far, I've l...
