    CANNON AIR FORCE BASE — A female airman with the 27th Special Operations Wing collapsed and died after exercising on base on Friday, according to a Cannon news release issued Sunday. The woman, who was not named, collapsed about 8:45 a.m., the release said. She was transported to medical facilities where she was declared dead. Media Operations Chief Eric Pilgrim said the woman was outside, near the base gym, participating in physical training with other airmen when the incident occurred.
