    Portales Fire Department personnel performed an aerial rescue Monday at the J.D. Heiskell grain elevator in Portales. One person was transported to Roosevelt General Hospital. Portales Fire Department Battalion Chief Lance Hill said the accident did not result in a fatal injury. Hill said privacy laws prohibited him from releasing the name, age or sex of the victim and the extent of injuries.     The rising cost of fuel prices are cause for concern with local trucking companies, industries and agriculture producers. With 18 trucks in their fleet that travel across the country delivering goods, WTI in Portales is facing the rising costs of fuel.
