Roosevelt to consider contracts

The Roosevelt County Commission will consider renewing one contract and entering into another at its meeting at 9 a.m. today in the Roosevelt County Courthouse.

The county's contract with Correct Care Solutions for medical services to detainees at the Roosevelt County Detention Center is up for renewal.

The proposed contract would charge the county $48,080 a month, or $576.968 a year, according to a proposal by CCS.

Also up for approval is a contract with Cordova CPAs for audit services.

The three-year contract would cost the county $39,775 in 2018 and $37,625 in 2019 and 2020, according to a proposal by Garcia CPAs.

Also at Tuesday's meeting:

• The commission will appoint the county's valuation protest board and review the county's organizational charts for the 2019 fiscal year.

• Commissioners will consider proclamations designating the first full week of May National Correctional Employees Week and declaring May Motorcycle Awareness Month.

• Commissioners will consider setting salaries for elected officials.
