Veterans Day Parade — 10 a.m. The parade will start at Hilltop Plaza in Clovis and continue south to the end of Main Street. An award presentation will follow at VFW Post 3280 at noon.

Pops Dinner Concert — 7 p.m., ENMU Campus Union Ballroom. Event includes ENMU's Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble and dinner. Vegetarian options will be available if pre-ordered. Tickets are $30 per person and $20 for active military and will be sold by mail only. Proceeds support scholarships for music students. Coat Drive for Kids — Runs through Nov. 21. Bring new and gently used coats to drop off sites to be donated to community children. Sites include Portales City Hall, Portales Recreation Center, Chamber of Commerce and the Memorial Building. Coats will be distributed during the community Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 22 at the Memorial Building.
