    Clovis man indicted in shooting death CLOVIS — A Curry County grand jury on Friday indicted a 30-year-old Clovis man on a charge of second-degree murder. Darryl Turner is accused in the Sept. 5 shooting death of David McDonald at the Clovis Apartments. “Turner fled to California, where he was arrested on unrelated charges and then extradited back to New Mexico on the outstanding murder warrant,” according to a news release from District Attorney Andrea Reeb.
